Silverlake animal sanctuary was founded by Mrs Winifred Skiff. Winn has been running Silverlake for many years but sadly last year her health deteriorated and she could no longer undertake the day to day running of the sanctuary. Since this time Rose Milne of Second Chance took on the management of the sanctuary and ensured the animals were cared for.
