Animals - Staffies Needing Homes All of the following
dogs are being housed at Warren Avenue Council Kennels. They are strays that either
haven't been claimed or the owners decided not to have back. We are displaying
these dogs for the council in the hope that they might be rehomed. They
are constantly over run with Staffies or Staffie X's, which is a real shame as
they do make lovely pets, but because of their bad reputation they are always
shunned. If you are interested in offering a home to one of these dogs
then please call Warren Avenue on 023 80510065. | BEAUTY
Staffi Female 2.5-3yrs REHOMED Friendly, active
girl. Loves to sit on your lap for cuddles! Is defensive with other dogs and can
be quite vocal so will need further training/socialising with other dogs. Has
been mixed on and off lead and once over her fears, plays well. Plays with toys,
loves tug games especially. An experienced home is needed for this slightly confused
dog. | | BUG

toys. Good with other dogs but will require further socialisation. Has basic training
and is eager to learn new things and will be fairly easy to teach as very food
motivated!! Is a stray so cannot be homed with children. Has met lots of new people
but is wary at the vets so further work will be needed. | | PRINCESS

Mastiff type, Male Neutered, 14 mths Big bundle of fun!! Came from a home
of inexperienced owners, who allowed him to become a handful. Is progressing well
here, eager and quick to learn. Very food motivated and very affectionate. Gets
on with other dogs but will require ongoing training as quite boisterous. Plays
with toys but gets bored easily. Requires gentle but firm handling and could be
homed with older children. All his problems are due to his size he has
